Under the Family Life Commission are the
following ministries:
Babysitting is provided for children during the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Blood Drive - Volunteers register, escort, and work the canteen.
Donors register for appointment times, but walk-ins are accepted.
Next Blood Drive is Sunday, October 26,2008..
Communion to Shut-Ins provides prayer and communion for shut-ins
who notify the parish office that they are unable to attend Mass.
Family Programs provide fun and educational programs for all age
groups.
Funeral Meals help fellow parishioners by serving meals in the
Spiritual Life Center after funerals.
Golden Treasures Bus Trip prepares bi-annual bus trips for
seniors.

Hearts On Wheels consists of parish volunteers who may be
available to provide needed transportation to the doctor, pharmacy, or
Mass.
Hospital Visitation Team visits those in our local hospitals one
day a week, as needed.
Nursing Home Ministry leads rosary & communion services, helps at
Mass, or visits on residents’ birthdays.
Prayer Care Package Group sends care packages to college
students and military personnel.
Prayer Network is a group of people who pray for specific
requests through a prayer chain.
Right To Life participates in prayer services, the Right to Life
Banquet, Washington DC March for Life, Teens for Life, the Bassinet
project and the annual Mother’s Day Carnation Sale.

Right to Life Suggested Websites Sponsor Couples are married couples who help prepare engaged
couples for the sacrament of marriage,
through five sessions of discussion using prepared materials.
Widow/Widower Support Group is for those grieving the loss of a
spouse.
The Widow/Widower monthly meeting is held on the third Sunday of each
month in the Spiritual Life Center. This confidential group meets
at 6 p.m. and all are welcome. You do not have to be a member of
the parish to participate. Refreshments are served. For further

A Family Bereavement Group
meets on the 4th Sunday of every month at 6 PM in the
SLC. Meetings are free and open to those who have lost a parent, spouse,
sibling, child, relative or friend.
